1. What Pending Really Means
In the Cursor referral dashboard, each invitee has a clear status label:
- Pending: This means your friend has completed account registration through your link, but has not yet completed credit card linking and been successfully charged;
- Successful / Completed: This means your friend has successfully paid for the first monthly order, and your $10 credit takes effect immediately.
2. Why Does Pending Status Expire and Disappear?
If, after the 14-day trial period ends, the friend chooses not to renew and downgrades back to the free plan, that Pending record will automatically be marked as Expired and will not bring you any credit.
